My name is Lauren Bonadies, and I teach ELA/Literature to 6th and 7th graders here at Mishawaka Catholic School.
This is my fifth year working at MCS, and I previously taught fourth and eighth grades as well as serving part-time in the Resource Program. In January of 2022, I moved into my new home at the Saint Monica Campus.
I have been married to my husband, Tim, since 2008. We met during our undergraduate years--his at ND and mine at SMC--and we now have five loud, wonderful, and precious children, all of whom are proud Saints! Cecilia is in 8th grade, Simon is in 5th grade, Oliver is in 4th grade, John is in 2nd grade, and Margaret is loving her time in the PK-3/4 classroom at Saint Bavo.
While I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, I went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Teaching Elementary Education. My initial licensure was in PK-6 from the State of Virginia, however, I now hold a license in K-6 as well as one in ELA for grades 5-9, both from the State of Indiana.
I look forward to learning and growing with the 6th and 7th Grade Saints through the course of the 2024-2025 school year.
