Lauren Bonadies

 Bonadies Family

My name is Lauren Bonadies, and I teach ELA/Literature to 7th and 8th graders here at Mishawaka Catholic School.

This is my third year working at MCS, and I previously taught fourth grade followed by serving part-time in the Resource Program. In January of 2022, I moved into my new home at the Saint Monica Campus.

I have been married to my husband, Tim, since 2008. We met during our undergraduate years--his at ND and mine at SMC--and we now have five loud, wonderful, and precious children, all of whom are proud Saints! Cecilia is in 6th grade, Simon is in 3rd grade, Oliver is in 2nd grade, John is in Kindergarten, and Margaret is 18-months old and spends her days with her friends at Saints and Squires Daycare at the Saint Joseph Campus.

While I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, I went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Teaching Elementary Education. My initial licensure was in PK-6 from the State of Virginia, however, I now hold a license in K-6 as well as one in ELA for grades 5-9, both from the State of Indiana.

I look forward to learning and growing with our oldest Saints through the course of the 2022-23 school year.

Please reach out to me if you have any questions regarding our ELA/Literature Curriculum!
