December Order Form

Mishawaka Catholic School

Lunch Program 2017-2018

Our goal is to make ordering and accountability easier, but we also want to better support our families in the payment process of our MCS Lunch Program.  We are happy to introduce that there are SIX payment options from which you may choose.  Consider all the options available and then decide which option works best for your family.  Your choices are:

Option 1:  Pay week-to-week with your order

Option 2:  Pay biweekly

Option 3:  Pay monthly

Option 4:  Pay for the year

Option 5:  Reduced lunch (must be eligible)

Option 6:  Free lunch (must be eligible)

At this time, we are going to once again use the pre-pay monthly order system. In case there was some confusion, you ARE able to claim credits for when your student is sick on the following month’s order. Statements were sent out in the Communication Folder that showed your lunch account balance. You have the option to either roll over your remaining credits to August or have a refund check issued. New next school year: If you do not claim your credits on the following month’s order, you will lose said credits. Exceptions to this are as follows:

  • The last month of the year
  • If your child is sick toward the end of a month and you have already placed the next month’s order, you may put your credits toward the following month
  • If you have questions, please call me!

Please remember that all students who will be ordering lunch must have a completed order form that includes payment and is returned by posted due date.

On a related note, please take the time to complete and submit your application(s) for the free/reduced lunch program.  When eligible, this can be a huge help to you as a family!  Please trust this is a confidential application process.

PLEASE BE SURE TO WRITE ON YOUR MCS LUNCH ORDER FORM(S): YOUR STUDENT’S NAME, HIS/HER CLASSROOM or HOMEROOM, AND THE DATE.

Mishawaka Catholic School remains in the National School Lunch Program; therefore, we follow their restrictions and guidelines on nutrition and portion sizes as well as operational regulations.  MCS School Lunches will be $2.50 a day.  Milk is $0.40.  The reduced lunch rate is $0.40.
